So yeah, I couldn't just leave it all plain and boring. I added the faux stitching, bow and stickles. Now I think I can call it done. I just won't enter this one into the challenge.
Oh, and welcome new follower Tonya! Not that I had to threaten her with her job or anything...

Happy Birthday Card - SSC2 Week 1, Day 4
Today's challenge over at Summer Card Camp 2 was to make a card in 10 minutes. Fortunately you can gather your supplies before the timer starts! Well, let's just say it's a lot harder than it sounds. That's even when using a pre-made card base. This challenge sure made me realize just how much agonizing I do so it was kind of nice to be forced to "just do it"!

Thanks for Caring - SSC2 Week 1 Day 3
For today's card I used a Masked Background technique. Rather than placing a banner sentiment on top of the pink, I used a SU punch and let the sentiment show through.

Fight Like A Girl - SCC2 Week 1 Day 2
For today's SCC card, I wanted to try Jennifer's technique of multi-inking with masking. Right away I saw a stamp set I received last year from A-Muse Studio to "Stamp Out Breast Cancer". Then I grabbed this fun paper from Pink Paislee from the "She Art" collection.
Originally I stamped some ribbons in yellow, orange and dark pink along the left on the white cardstock. I really didn't like the way it turned out. I used a Martha Stewart punch and then colored in my "stripes".
