Car Birthday

This is a birthday card for a co-worker. I used the colors from Lily Pad Cards Cover Lover - Auntie Mame book cover as inspiration. http://www.lilypad.inlinkz.com/2011/04/23/cover-lover-11-4/ The red and blue stripe on the Auntie Mame book really grabbed me, reminiscent of old air mail envelopes.

A Sister's Love

I had my daughter give me a "challenge" so she said to use the word "fickle" and the color blue. I used the 4.21 sketch from Sketchy Thursdays for my layout.

This card is for my awesome cousin who is also a Hostess Extraordinaire! Her door is always open and her heart is always warm. Isn't that mushy? Stamp is Stampin Up Perfect Punches and the die cuts are Spellbinders. I'm hoping the reverse frame idea qualifies! Since I popped up the red rectangle, I had to double the pop dots on the right side of the blue "Thanks" label.

Hello - Color Throw Down

I was prompted to make this card by "Kathy's Color Throw Down" challenge on Lily Pad cards. Admittedly not a typically color scheme for me. The right hand photo is the inside. That cute little giraffe is from Stampin Up's "Wild About You" set. The border punch is Martha Stewart and the white background is embossed with QuicKutz "Diamonds and Dots".

Love Card

This card was made for a wonderful couple getting married this week. The labels were cut using the Slice Noteworthy design card. The blue cardstock label was glittered with Martha Stewart Carrara Marble glitter to make it "just the right color blue." The stamp on the white label is from Stampin Up called "Elizabeth." This is the first time I've used it, but think it will be one of my favorites.
